Earlier this month, our friends at Citrix held their annual Synergy Conference in Orlando, Florida. We saw a number of key themes coming from the event, focused on the Citrix vision for the software-defined workplace, and how it is transforming the future of IT and the mobile workspace. We continue to see these themes at work in our collaboration with Citrix, as IT leaders strategize how to reduce cost and complexity of API, App, and IOT development, and look to the AnyPresence + Citrix solution to accelerate development while providing governance and security to enterprise app efforts.
Team AnyPresence was represented in several areas across the event, from the Citrix Mobile Workspaces Pavilion where we showcased how AnyPresence and Citrix are collaborating with customers to enable mobile business workflows. As an exciting new use case, attendees viewed customer examples of app development accelerated by the joint offering of Citrix’s new WorxForm as the front-end and AnyPresence as the backend for a simple solution to enable a customer apps, for example connectivity with SQL Server and mobile services with authentication and user roles, on a quick "Compliance Form app" for field workers. Over in the XenMobile Pavilion, attendees were excited to see the Apple Watch “Employee Directory app" built on AnyPresence technology, which fit the event’s theme around enabling new ways of working by putting HR Directory information at your finger tips. AnyPresence also showcased collaboration with IPM, a Citrix Platinum Partner and Citrix Specialist in Networking for Apps & Mobile Security. IPM leveraged AnyPresence for their new Metalog app, offering a simple and easy way to monitor XenApp and XenDesktop installations.
AnyPresence Chief Strategy Officer, Susan Miller, was featured on Citrix’s Synergy TV, where she discussed digital transformation, emerging enterprise IT requirements for App development and more with Citrix’s Divya Saggar. Watch the full interview below.
