Apple announced the launch of the iPad Pro this week, with early pre-orders from third party stores already sold out. While the price point and target audience will limit this new entrant from reaching iPhone or even iPad like sales figures, it will no doubt be another commercial success for Apple.

Each year Gartner predicts the future on several coverage areas. Naturally, with mobile being one of Gartner’s “Nexus of Forces”, mobile apps and development was an area of focus for one of these reports. They recently published their mobile apps and mobile app development predictions for 2016.

Yesterday morning, I stumbled across an article in the Guardian where Nick Hayek Jr., son of the late co-founder of the Swatch Group and now CEO, told a Swiss newspaper that the Apple Watch is an “interesting toy.” He went on to say in the interview that Swatch would sell a smartwatch with a battery that lasts nine months.

Today we are announcing the latest release of the AnyPresence platform.
